does anybody know where i can download microsoft word? i have windows 98 thanks!
What you are asking for is not quite legal.
However, if you are desperate to get a copy of Word for free, then you can download a copy of Office on any p2p program such as Win MX, Kazaa, bit torrent etc. Just watch out for those viruses and don't download small files (Office is usually around 500Mb or so)
There is Star Office but the last time I used it, it was crap.

If you are still on Windows 98, I'd recommend going for Office 2000. Office XP is *supposed* to run on it, but I've come across a number of installations where, for some indiscernable reason, it won't install.
Office 2003 will only work on Windows 2000/XP.
If you want a more legal option, then go for Openoffice.org. It's fully compatible with Microsoft Office, and perfectly functional.
