With a new year in, let's look back on nearly four years of the site and see what you have remembered at the time.

My personal favourites were:

- The 9/11 thread as it happened
- The Crossroads 2003 thread
- The Random Thread
- Crap Mocks Threads
- Neon Radio Thread
- Neon Radio vs. CMP Radio
- The Alldritt Family!
- Jamez' banning over Chris Rogers and the subsequent boycott
- My own banning from both sites and the following return
- The 2002 Christmas Chatroom Spectacular (the Maggie Smash)
- The Jarongate Scandal
- Never-ending sentence threads
- The trolls that seem to have taken over TV Forum in the last 18 months!
- Lova (Anyone want to fart into a bottle?)
- The "Central is going to become Channel 3 Midlands" scam
- Keef Whyte
- Lee Stanley Banana Incident
- Adam Incident

Any more for any more?

Oh definately!

But I don't think you can beat the first one as much...it just had that air of excellence about it. More people drawn in to the elaborate lie.

Awww...why don't we have fun like that anymore.

My Personal favourite was the fantastic news that James Martin was leaving... then I woke up and in the real world it would HAVE to be the Jarongate affair and that special Murder She Wrote episode. Simply classic.

Jarongate was fabulous, the way the guy had so many people wrapped around his little finger is amazing! Hats off to you, Jaron if you're still around - what an amazing scam (but not as good as "Catch Me If You Can" I'm afraid)...

Would be Jaron for me - he was to TV Forum what Angela Russell was to Home & Away.

Legend, or rather a leg-end.

Other gems:

- Jamez' pisstakes of Simon L*xton, but none as good as last summer's Radio 4 interview! Quality stuff mate.
- Jamez' subsequent pisstake of Lee Stanley "I'm gonna buy bananas to shove up my ass..."
- If TV Forum were a channel...
- That night we invaded a load of IRC chatrooms
- And on a personal note, meeting James Ison in the flesh.

David H was my all time favourite TVF user; Jaron was before my time as I joined in Jan 2003 ( unless of course he posted in the mocks or requests which I never read ).

David H's NE thread was the main reason I joined the forum in the first instance, but then he got forced out by the Midlands and Yorkshire folk  . Ironically, the Midlands and Yorkshire threads are still going strong. Anyone fancy joining me in trashing them as a permanent monument of revenge just for David ? May the Lord God damn you people ( and you know who you are ! )
Three cheers for Rupert and Hubert!

Oh ineed and now we have Annabel Tiffin presenting in the North West. Every time I see her (good presenter though she is) I can't help having nighmares of David H's hugly pointless Central News banners and posters, and of course his lovely style of replying to himself with a smilie.

Butof course Jarrongate has to win this contest! Pure excelence!
