BBC News Online and Sky News have the fab News Alers system for major breaking news stories. The bugger is it's only for Window's users, and I'm on a Mac.
Does anyone know of any News Alert software available for Macs?

News alerts for Mac
I don't know about the Alerts - but there are pleanty of RSS Feed Readers available for Mac. I use one of the Widgets from Konfabulator for Mac for this, but there are loads of other Readers too.
Skinkers (most news alerts are used with this program) are apparently going to to develop a version for Mac this year.
