GRRR @ TV Forum
I just cannot log into TV Forum anymore! I registered with them first about two years ago, then here when the Lounge moved but it won't accept my old details anymore. I try to re-register and now it says it doesn't accept Hotmail or Yahoo e-mail addresess. So did it automatically cancel the accounts of those who previously registered when Yahoo email addresses like mine were deemed OK?
And what is it about Yahoo anyway? They are so different to Hotmail. I get no junk mail whatsoever. So let me get this straight, I have to open a seperate email account with another provider just for the sole basis of re-re-registering for a forum of which I am already registered at then have to delete the new account afterwards?

"That one!"
It is because they are too "anonymous" - ie. anyone can just register without having to put any details in. I bet they had loads of spammers signing up using addresses from those providers and so banned people from signing up using them. Also probably for the very reason that Ebay don't allow you to sign up for an account using a Hotmail or Yahoo address without entering in credit card details. And what is it about Yahoo anyway? Personally I hate using both Hotmail and Yahoo as they do not offer the choice of address I want without sticking loads of numbers in front of it, they don't allow POP/SMTP access without charging you, if they go down the entire "world" seems to be uncontactable too as they seem to be on Hotmail and also they tag a sponsor message on the bottom of your email - something which, as you may have guessed, I don't like either. It is my email and I do not want your crap tagged to it.
So yes, you will have to is the answer.

Got the exact same problem. When I try to recreate the account with my new Gmail address it says the account is already in use. I've contacted Asa but there is no reply yet.
