Google gets auto complete

well this is an interesting concept. I like when you type in hymag...

So what does everyone think of this then? I don't understand what it's quite for to be honest apart from perhaps being a sort of spellchecker.

Cool - quite similar to some of the autocomplete stuff in Gmail.

It doesn't like quotes.

So if you was to type in "marmalade j" and see marmalade jam in the list, select it, you lose the quotes and end up doing a search for marmalade or jam as opposed to the specific phrase.

I like the new type a wrod into the address bar and google will goto that site feature. Does anybody have a name for that?!?!?

Mozilla's always had that feature, I can either type in a URL or a word which then goes into Google

Although annoyingly you get a fixed list of search addresses - so it doesn't do Google.co.uk only .com
