Well pretty much as the title suggests, Boris Johnson has today been sacked as a front bench MP *and* vice whatsit! Apparently this is all amongst allegations in his private life (I KNEW it was a wig)!

But that really is gutting, our only *fab* MP gone :(

From PA News:
Mr Johnson tonight told PA he had nothing to add to his statement to The Mail on Sunday.

"What can I say ? God. It's been a bad evening," he said.
Boris is too fab to be an MP anyway!

Absolutely! He should have his own TV show.

In today's Metro (London Edition - not sure about anywhere else) there is a guide on how to dress like Boris!

Only the English could find a stuck-up upper class ponce who blunders his way through life endearing.

As ''funny'' as Boris might be, ask yourself whether you would want to have a man like that as your MP. So when you have a serious problem with something in your neighbourhood that you want sorted out, you are reliant upon a dithering pillock to make it happen for you.

Get a grip, you lot, please.

I daresay that's the case with the majority of MPs in this country, just that we're more aware of it with Boris. If he couldn't get the job done, then he would never be elected! Give the public a little credit, puhleeeease!

(Faraway tree, hehe, nostalgia!)

Boris is an MP for one of the most Conservative constituencies in the entire country... he got elected on the basis of his party, not because he is a good guy.

And having worked with a fair few MPs, his public image as a complete twit is entirely contrary to the image most others give off.

MPs have a serious job to do - from sitting on committees and doing fact-finding in overseas countries to making sure local bus shelters are put up where people need them - and Boris continually makes a mockery of that with his tosser-like antics.

He isn't representing his constituents properly, because he spends most of his time making a pratt of himself and then defending his actions afterwards.

Making a prat of himself, editing a magazine, writing a column, various books, having an affair, I'm sure the list goes on - MP probably comes about at the end if his priorities - sadly.
