Wish me luck folks!
My last post for a short while! I'm going into hospital tomorrow to get this damn leaky heart valve fixed! They'll either repair it or replace it, they won't know 'til they're in there! The op is scheduled for Wednesday and I'll be a day or so in intensive care afterwards. Sounds gruesome... they cut your breastbone, stop your heart etc, but I have been through several ops in my life so I'm more fascinated than worried by it all. I'll be taking my portable DVD player and the newly released Red Dwarf V in to keep me company.
I should be out next Friday at the latest! See you then!

Good luck Brad. I'll send you some positive vibes (soon as I work out what they are!).

What about the "sorry,-but-your-warranty-is-not-valid-because-[insert-obscure-excuse-here]" one!Brad wrote:...repair it or replace it...
anyway, it's against my principles to wish "good luck" about an operation, as that suggests that there is an element of chance in it -- and thanks to today's specialised equipment, it's bound to be fine.
