I feel now would be an appropriate time to announce I have a dog who is *very* sick and needs an expensive operation...

Well, well done you. I know you're happy with your lot, but at the same time I can't help feeling that £1,210 is a rather poor sum of money for getting 5.

That's what seems wrong with this lottery to me, there you are just one number short of all 6 (yes I know the bonus ball comes in to play), and you're only just topping a grand. I think it's time for a re-distribution of the cash pot for the smaller winners.

Anyway, I don't mean to rain on your parade, perhaps spare yourself a tenner out of your winnings and go for a few shandys tonight.

well with a full jackpot of only £4.4 million you can't expect much.

Time for getting rid of all the other games in my opinion.

Congratulations on the win

However I do agree with Square Eyes on this one. Although there is a Bonus ball 5 numbers isn't that far from 6 numbers. It should have been at least £10,000-£50,000.

and £10 for three numbers what b*ll*cks. By the time you win on three numbers you've probably spent £100 trying.

Sorry to piss on your parade, but I suppose over £1000 is better than f*ck all.

I remember you used to win about £500 for a 4 number win, and then it was something like £20,000 for 5 numbers! Bit of a change in fortunes.

Silly really...it's down to all these "better odds" games...which I've never played. I don't play the lottery that often...only when it's a massive jackpot or I see the stand and have a spare £1 at the end of the day.

Get rid of all the other pointless games - perhaps keep the Thunderball as it's effectively a different game, and benefits from the prize money always being the same. But all the other games that "leach" off the lottery such as Hotpicks, then they just need to go.

Let's get a cracking jackpot on the lottery like we used to. I remember when a rollover used to mean a £19,000,000 jackpot...you're lucky to get £9,000,000 now!!

But ANYWAY, well done nobrinG. Do I get a drink?

i see that ticket cost you £2... and roughly how often have you been playing the lottery? I'd say about 3 years at a guess. 3 * (2 * 52) = 312

so that's 1210 - 312 = £898 you've won. Still, plenty to put in an envelope and send to me! ;)
