Like with the Queen thread, I have put a poll to see what is Metropol Members favourite U2 song. I have included more well known songs of U2 as I know they may not have as wide as appeal as Queen due to their political view, Then again I may be wrong

This time I have included an Other tab so if you don't like any in the selection but like another please write what it is.

I have voted, New Years Day, a great early song from 1983 album WAR, especially the longer album version

Can't see your 'Other' option!

I like '11 O'Clock Tick Tock' which I have on a compilation of Martin Hannett productions. Maybe be blasphemous, but I much prefer the Pet Shop Boys version of 'Where The Streets Have No Name' ;) Always been more into synths than guitars!

They just had an i-Pod ad with U2 on it, was that the new track? the caption came up but not sure if this is a snippet of the proper version, if it is it sounds great (haven't seen or heard it on TMF or The Hits yet)

My earliest U2 memory is when "Pride (In The Name of Love)" came out when I was three, and since then I suppose I've been a fan.

Favourite tracks include "Bad", "Gloria", "Sunday Bloody Sunday", "Even Better Than The Real Thing" (Perfecto remix - the best remix of all time IMO), "Beautiful Day", "Numb"... any of them really.

Just seen & heard Vertigo on THE HITS, Great song & a mad video as well, If this doesn't make the top five then most of the UK nusic buying public (teenage kids) are Twat's especially if that cover/ sample of Steve Windwood's Valerie stays Number 1 ( the video is good for that however :D )
