I have a very old, very slow Windows 95 PC from which I would like to transfer about 168 MB of things.
It doesn't have a USB port, nor a CD-R drive. Am I consigned to spending a weekend with a floppy disk, or are there any other options that you know of?
Tanks.

If you can borrow an external zip drive with 100MB discs, you would be done in a jiffy. They have a serial connection.
As I'm a lovely fella, I'll send you mine down if you like.
Just let me know bud.
T(h)anks, that's very kind of you. I forgot all about them, I think I may know a place...Gavin Scott wrote:Data tanks? That's new to me.DAS wrote:I have a very old, very slow Windows 95 PC from which I would like to transfer about 168 MB of things.

Ta as well Chris although my old PC may well run away if I start networking it for the sake of 168 MB!
Another very nice idea.nodnirG kraM wrote:Or better still just take the old drive out and whack it onto the secondary IDE lead. Your BIOS should recognise it automatically so you can just drag over any files you need in Explorer.
The service at this place is fantastic!
