Picture / Sound Quality

Hi,

Just thought I would start this little thread to air my views on the subject, becuase it can quite annoy me when people post on forums or likewise complaining about picture/sound quality of radio or tv.
Personally speaking, I couldn't really care less whether something is DVD or CD quality, as long as it is watchable and doesn't break up every few seconds. I don't watch or listen to programmes for the quality, I tune in for entertainment. I bought a DAB digital radio not for the "Digital Quality Sound" but stations such as 6music, BBC7 and Jazz FM and I don't notice and really am not bothered if the sound is as good as a CD.

That's really my views in a nutshell!
Does anybody else here watch digital tv or listen to digital radio for the quality only or did you buy it so you can watch or listen to different stations?

I think people are entitled to be disappointed by the quality they get if they know that their equipment is capable of better.

I got an Evoke-1 for the stations such as Planet Rock, BBC7 and The Arrow. I was annoyed at the quality of the sound through a 250W hifi, but it's own built in mono speaker masks most of the compression artifacts
