Oh yes, making its way around the net as I speak.
Dan, you're not alone in him sending MSN messenger invites. I started a thread about it not so long ago.DAS wrote:Craiga is a legendary stalker. He seems to be a member of every forum I visit, has added me to Messenger (I am scared how he obtained my address) and bombarded me with various invites and mp3 attachments - just because he wants jingles.
For anyone who hasn't received an invite from our legendary stalker, here are the contents of one of his invite emails ...
Address left so that he gets all the spam he deserves.Craiga wrote:Leicester City FC tv wants to talk to you!
Hello there,
My name is Craig - I am wondering what your Msn Messenger addy is? I look on Tv forum so please E-Mail me at [email protected] thanks!..
Regards
Craig
I wrote back saying ...
Out of interest, what were the mp3's about?I wrote:The address you see my TV forum profile is not and never has been an MSN address. It is an email address to contact me if you wish to send me things; and before you ask why it isn't in the email field, it is to prevent spammers from filling my inbox with unwanted crap.
Now, please do not email me about this in future. I do not and have no intention now or in future to give my MSN address out on TV Forum, especially to you.
He never responded to my email. Either he got the message or was a little bit peeved at my response. I now expect my inbox to be filled up with Fosseway Radio jingles and Barry Gray mp3's!

Well never mind personality-crisis Meic, I'm still a bit *what was all that about then* about Corin.
A few v intensive months of correcting, informing, mithering, and lots of religious instruction and then -- all gone. The cake was left out in the rain really and well, that's it.
It's all rather enigmatic.

Intriguingly, he used various different e-mail addresses for me but not that one.
"Hi there Das mate it's Craig here, I was wondering if you would like to come on msn messenger please because I would like to send you some themes and music!.
Regards
Craig"
I would get Word documents of lists and random songs on mp3 I couldn't identify. I even got told "Hi Dan i've only got a few clean 2003 radio 1 jingles so i'll send them to
you in 15mins ok cheers" but nothing happened.
He once called me Dave.
Then one day he sent me a PM at another forum entitled "Yo daniel" and I got a bit fed up. So I threatened him with legal action and he hasn't been in contact since sadly.

I told him that if he was after Fosseway Radio jingles Ison would be the best person to contact!
For this James, I can only apologise as this was before I knew more about him. So I'm sorry if I passed on any hell to you at all!
He was a particular fan of "Nick Gurney's Birthday Jingle" - which is a. not Nick Gurney's jingle, it's used on the weekend breakfast show too and b. it's not a bloody jingle, it's a loop of a song riff, the title of which I'm sure Ison can fill me in on.

I just used the simple method I use with most the trolls/morons, ignore, worked a treat, only got the one email.
