First single was Take On Me by A-ha, which stood the test of time as a quality pop song.
I feel so old... it was actually on vinyl (£1.65 from W.H.Smith, I seem to recall) because you couldn't get CD or cassette singles back then.
First album was Now 4 (oh yes!) on cassette, bought purely because it had the theme from Ghostbusters on.

Morton Harkett used to wear those leather thongs wrapped round his wrist. I wore them too, but no one warned me that for the first few times you had a bath they would leak orange colour into the water. I had a Dale Winton perma-tan for months - up to a tide line on my shoulders, that is.
