Since yesterday when ever I click on any icon for Windows Media Player nothing happens, there is no icons for WMP anymore. I don't know what has happened, I only used it the other day.
Help appreciated

Do you mean there's no entry for it any more on the Start Menu?
Or do you mean when you double click a file to play it in Media Player nothing happens?

I've been to run and typed wmplayer.exe but it led to nothing, I searched for it and the result I clicked on done nothing.
This is what the shortcut looks like on the menu with no proper icon, I have tried Open with and WMP but that made no difference.

Have you tried reinstalling WMP?
