Just a question about said airline. I'm flying with them soon and have been told by people who I know who have flown with them that along with my booking number I will need the card used to pay for the tickets as a sort of 'proof of payment'. Just wondering if there was any truth in this seeing as it wasnt my card used to make the booking and the cardholder wont be present at the airport when i fly. :?:
Cheers.

There is no truth in that whatsoever. I regularly have flights booked for me on someone elses card.

Make sure you have your passport (obviously), and for your own peace of mind take a copy of the online booking confirmation (or email), although they dont actually need that either.

Your name is on the manifest, and they just need your passport to prove who you are.

Bon voyage!

I'm in Germany very regulary, and always fly Lufthansa. To avoid check-in I have a special card which I slot into a machine at Terminal 2 Heathrow, and that's it for me. Whenever I have flown Easyjet I only needed my passport, and booking number.

Just returned from a return flight to Spain with easyjet. Never had such an efficient check in, such an amusing crew or a more efficient service. Heartily recommended. We were early both ways.

I only needed my passport, but I took a record of my locator.
