I am going on a bike ride - and to use a cliché I don't know where I'm going or how long I'm going to be. I just fancy a bike ride.

I thought you'd all like to know that.

I went on a bike ride yesterday actually. Cycled to a near-by village. Had a pint at a lovely pub in the blistering heat, and buggered off home again.

Will this be a London Bike of uncomfortable heat?

I'll lend you a cream to aid your sore botty.

Bikes are a good thing.

It took me a good ten minutes while slightly inebriate late last night after a mates pool party to work out how to turn the lights on on my bike. We got them on, but whether I should have been riding my bike at all is another story entirely..

I'm afraid I wasn't that ambitious - I did end up in local Leicestershire village of Barwell and had a drink in the Cross Keys pub. Although there were a few looks when I walked in ! But still, that happens when I walk into any place.

Did the round trip of 11 miles in just over an hour. Not overly impressive but was a very refreshing ride.

To me 11 miles seems like quite a long way. I'd only be two miles out before I got to the pub... if I was 18... or could ride a bike...

Bloody hell that's quick! Barwell's actually about a 15 minute drive from where you are isn't it? Cross Keys pub is nice though, but I prefer the Red Lion in Burbage myself.
