I wonder, is it the Lib Dems' desire for us to turn into another clone country of Europe, prevented from having total home rule?

I will be popping down the polling station before my weekly jaunt to the pub quiz. Actually have to walk past the pub to get to that local polling station!! Ho hum! I may get distracted and just end up in the pub anyway.

Mayor 2nd = Green Party

European = Labour
GLA Local = Labour

Ooh, Lib Dems have gained Newcastle-upon-Tyne City Councill from Labour, usually rock solid Labour area; Lib Dems have wiped out Labour's majority, and also unseated the Labour group leader and deputy leader.

Choice of 2 independent County Councillors: The woman who came and knocked on my door and was lovely. The other candidate called me an 'arrogant tosser' - He was one of these Lord of the manor types with a pipe and Range Rover. He won, unfortunately.
