How were you treated by the Cabin Crew on a Plane?
I was once on a flight to Menorca I think it was, and at the start, the captain did the usual introductions of his co-pilot and the head of trolley-dolly squad and whatnot, but didn't introduce himself.
"Alright", I thought, "it's not like I'll ever remember his name".
At the end of the flight, the nice flight attendant thanked us..."On behalf of the cabin crew, flight team and Captain Spock, we'd like to thank you for flying Mytravel".
Perhaps I built that up too much, but I don't want to revise any more physics today, but I guess I DID remember his name after all...

The Best Airline I flown in the USA is Continental Airlines
Because they are the only airline in the US that still serves meals/snacks even on a 2hour flight

We just flew Thomas Cook to Spain, when we left the cabin wasnt pressurized and i got a terrible headache.
Leaving Spain, he landed gradually which didnt give me a headache at all.
The cabin crew though, they were crap. Unprofessional, not well organised.

Aah, good old MyTravel Late.
Don't think I've ever flown with them either as MyTravel or Airtours International and the plane left on time. Terrible punctuality record.
Airtours was crap anyway so a Lite version was always going to be diabolical...
And the stewardesses really are all bitches!

Well myTravel did make our journey out to Menorca interesting. Took off from East Midlands 4 hours late, after 20 minutes in the air the pilot let us know we'd be turning back because the plane was fooked.
So we get back, some people were helping a lady who was having a bit of a panic attack (I was suprisingly calm the whole way back oddly) and they give us vouchers for food at the airport (dang right!). 4 hours later(8pm) we're told we won't be going anywhere tonight so they'd put us up in a VERY nice hotel a few miles from the airport. It was *very* nice and for 200 passengers must have cost the airline a few bob.
So the next day we set off at 7am to get the earliest flight possible. But guess what! They've had to charter a plane from Holland which will take a while to get here. So another 4 hours pass and the plane arrives, an hour queuing and we get on the plane. Then YAY, the lady who had a panic attack yesterday has decided, AFTER getting all of her stuff loaded on, that she doesn't want to fly!
SO we sit around another hour on the plane while they painfully take EVERYTHING off, search through it for her bag and pull it off.
We actually took off at (I believe) around 3 or 4pm that day, and as it was a much bigger plane than the knackered one, I got 2 seats to myself - small consolation!
and I thought for good measure...a memento of the grand arrival.

Typical MyTravel though.
Anyone used Thomson-Fly.com, the new airline from Coventry Airport?
It's pretty pants, but the punctuality record is very good.
But they managed to lose my suitcase with about £1.5K < of stuff in it and both Thomson and their contractors in Baggage have been EXTREMELY unhelpful and downright difficult in tracking it down. One month on, I've seen nothing of it and both their staff in Coventry and at Malaga have been worse than useless.
For a World of TUI company I find it rediculous - I certainly won't be choosing them again if I can avoid it and I strongly encourage others not to.

Now really, whose fault is that? You should know better than to check valuables, Mr Martin.Flava wrote:But they managed to lose my suitcase with about £1.5K < of stuff in it
