DISASTER!!!

Anonymous

For me a journey to work between Ilford & Debden going into stratford by GER & into Debden via central line which should have took roughtly an hour took 2 1/2 hours once because a power cable came down at Manor Park. I was so p*ssed off that I was moody for the rest of the day.

I guess I've had a lot of very near-disasters, but not one great conflagration that springs to mind.

- the fires of 1993
- the floods of 1994
- the "clicking car thing" of 2000
- the fires of 2003
- my dripping bathroom ceiling of 2004

My biggest was when I fell through a garage roof in 1998. It was either made of plastic or asbestos  I'll let you know when I'm 45.

Or the time I Broke me big toe & the one next to it in a industril yard in 1994

Or the time I was playing cricket in the street, skidded along the dodgy old tarmac smacked my face onto the edge of the curb resulting in one twisted tooth (which i managed to twist back with no pain as the gum had gone numb, one that had chipped & a slit below my lip which required stiches where I had to wait for 5 1/2 hrs in Kign George Hospital in Goodmayes
