I remember when there was late afternoon closing of shops on a Saturday. In the 70s, Sainsbury's used to close at 4pm.

Tesco are introducing a two-tier meal deal pricing strategy.
Meals will go up from £3 to £3.40 for Clubcard holders and £3.90 for other customers.
The Co-op introduced a similar scheme charging £3.50 for members and £4 for non-members.
