They're not big bang'ing them out to everyone, it'll just be customers who's Visa Debit cards are naturally expiring to begin with (plus possibly cards reported lost/stolen and new accounts).Jonwo wrote: Tue 07 Dec, 2021 18.13 Has anyone received the new Natwest bank cards yet? I would have thought they'd want them rolled out before Christmas

I had to have mine changed in November due to fraud, so got one of the last standard issue Visa Debit cards, so I'm at the back of the queue again as it would have been renewed in April.

Indeed, who wants to mess about updating card details everywhere just to update the look of their debit card?

I've done it for a Nectar card update (more than once). But not for something that would cause quite a bit of disruption in the meantime.Philip wrote: Fri 10 Dec, 2021 16.48You realise what forum you're on right?bilky asko wrote: Fri 10 Dec, 2021 16.46Indeed, who wants to mess about updating card details everywhere just to update the look of their debit card?

You don't realise how many websites I had to go and change the card details on for my new card. There were still places I hadn't changed the details for that nearly cancelled subscriptions too and Amazon for some reason needs you to change it for Prime, Subscribe & Save and for standard purchases.
I'm in no rush for NatWest to change my card again.

When Yorkshire Bank rebranded to Virgin Money and sent everyone new cards, mine had the exact same details as the old one, except for the expiry date.bilky asko wrote: Fri 10 Dec, 2021 16.46Indeed, who wants to mess about updating card details everywhere just to update the look of their debit card?
Just had a letter from RBS saying they're closing their Fleet Street branch - the end for Child & Co?thegeek wrote: Tue 13 Oct, 2020 15.24 However, I did get something fancy from them: I selected the Fleet Street RBS branch (which is one of my nearest) and got a swanky looking Visa Debit card from Child & Co, the world's third oldest bank.
I really should find a reason to go and visit before June, because it looks rather swanky inside.
