I'm disappointed they didn't go with a dodecagonal o.

They probably didn't know the pound coin was changing shape when they designed that logo - they've been caught out.

There's no issue - it's not supposed to be some accurate diagram.

The new branding is similar to the Poundland and More brand using the same yellow disc in the logo. Shame they didn't use the exact same font. Also the designer would have to be ridiculously thick to not know of shape of the new pound coin, so I wouldn't say there been caught out, as if intended tonly represent the pound cointment they would have made it 12 sided.

Hell of a lot of canisters to rebrand! The old one will be around for a while yet.

Well, it depends on the elevation of the track.
Then again, I'm an American - what do I know?

Arriva also run buses, so they do serve high streets as well.

(High Level used more often on railways in UK to differentiate two stations in same locality; although both Newport and Swansea used to have the "High Street" appendage)

Talking of Railways, SSP (Pumpkin, Upper Crust et al) have rebranded their railside operation from Rail Gourmet to the more generic RG to apparently help them bid for non-rail contracts. (although their website is still at railgourmet.com for now)
