TECCO Express in Salford (https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.48362 ... 6656?hl=en) has been aping Tesco Express for years...

For many years we had a shop called 'Arrods in Trowbridge. Same font, same gold on green, same everything, except an apostrophe instead of the H.

Not sure why it finally closed, whether it was pressure from the original.

Love the obviously fake reasons they've explained for how the similar signage came about.

The voiceovers in the current Sainsbury's adverts... it's not Jarvis Cocker, is it?

I've seen plenty of the ITV Drama breakbumpers - just didn't want to believe that Jarvis was taking the corporate shilling!

It's as rock & roll as Johnny Rotten advertising butter a few years back!

The board of Home Retail Group have approved the sale of Argos to Sainsbury's. Up to 200 stores will close.

Close as Argos branches anyway. I think a good number have a future as Sainsburys Local branches.
