Another High Street Rebrand

KC is changing it's name to KCOM. As a result the KC Stadium becomes the KCOM Stadium (I'm sure the Hull City and Hull FC fans will still call it the KC) and the KC Lightstream Stadium (Hull KR's ground) becomes just the Lightstream Stadium.

It's a bit inconsistent at least at the moment, I looked on their website and the corresponding mouse they're going to sell (not available to order yet) for the Spectre uses the old logo. Late decision maybe? Or is it just going to be used on this laptop and nothing more. The other Spectres still use the old logo too.

I love the look of the new Spectre. Apparently one of the compromises though is that the copper smudges very easily.

Moving away from the circle in a rectangle to a circle only was a tweak enough, but it's become one of those logos that has survived for just too long to be fundamentally changed this way. I actually really liked the way some of their recent kit (like their tablets) explicitly spelt out 'HEWLETT-PACKARD' on the bezel, made it appear a classy brand.

They can't use the full name anymore since the split, at least according to this article. The enterprise part took the full name as 'Hewlett Packard Enterprise' (without a hyphen) and the consumer business is 'HP Inc'.

That new logo is horrible. And if they can't use the full name, they should've changed it completely. Mention HP to someone not in the know and they're going to think of brown sauce.
