The sheer amount of them seems to have pushed away both the good mockers and the good critics. I don't get even the slightest urge to post anything of my own in there any more (not that I was exactly prolific).dosxuk wrote:Loving all the crap 14 year old mockers ganging up on the newbie 12 year old mockers in the mocks forum so much my irony meter has actually exploded.

I missed the memo about DVB Cornwall moderating the Eurovision thread. I was looking for a way to sync another audio feed with BBC Four...
To be fair I did put in a request to split the topic, not just because it wasn't particularly Eurovision related but because there was a lot of interesting discussion in there that was being hidden if you don't usually venture into that thread.
It's one of the unwritten rules of the forum that it's HIS thread and HIS alone. He starts it, he finishes it.robschneider wrote:I missed the memo about DVB Cornwall moderating the Eurovision thread. I was looking for a way to sync another audio feed with BBC Four...

There's an extremely interesting discussion going on in another place about transmission delays and the BBC changing FM radio over from NICAM distribution to IP. We currently have the interesting situation in central Wiltshire, where car radios flip-flop between Wenvoe and Rowridge a lot, where one has been changed over and the other hasn't, so every time you change transmitters the feed stutters. The article from BBC R&D about the NICAM replacement kit is a bit strange, seeing as the BBC won't be using NICAM at all in a few months time.
I've copied this post into the TX Suite in case anyone wants to continue the technical discussion.

Yes, but that's only because you speak so many languages. Including gibberish, it seems!Alexia wrote:Nice.
Aside from the fact that post is quite possibly entirely nonsensical, surely its use of derogatory homophobic language should at least earn a warning. Some members have been warned or worse for much less than that.thegeek wrote:623058 wrote:Thats because there were, you have bunch of lesbian carpet munches on cow n chicken, that pushing the boat out.
