Bring it on, bitch. You are speculating about the details of the health of a human being to which you have little to no connection short of allowing him to do his job and bring you a news bulletin on the television once a day. Furthermore you are making a presumption that because said person has decided to release little information into the public domain to satisfy your peverse need to know it necessary follows that said person is doing well, a presumption on which, by your own admission, you have little evidence for. By doing so you bely sentiments, curiosities and desires which can be accurately and entirely described within the terms of the adjective "ghoulish".

I should also point out that your post was entirely outwith the remit of this thread, which is to focus and critique such occurrences on TVF which continually cloud actual genuine interesting discussion on the subject of television presentation. The unending obsession with presenters' and celebrities' private lives, health, interests, politics and fashion sense is a disease which is tolerated by the establishment at the other place. You have demonstrated tonight that you belong to that group of people, and thus deserve every withering, sharp, uncomfortable bitchslap that comes your way from those of us that choose a more enlightened philosophy.
