I notice the most important thing about the potential closure of BBC3 is "BBC4 will HAVE to rebrand"

Fucking cretins.

The 'Fantasy Director-General' game being played in the BBC Three thread is cringey in the extreme.

I hate people posting fantasy schedules as much as anyone, but I don't think people explaining what they think should be dropped and what should remain is something to get annoyed with, it's exactly the discussion that should be happening given the circumstances.

I agree - it's certainly an interesting time ahead. Naturally the whole question of what to do with the remaining services will be thrown up, as the closure of BBC3 will impact on the remits of 1, 2 and 4.

What's annoyed me more is the poor moderation happening of late.

There was already an existing "Should they scrap BBC 3/4?" thread that had been inactive for weeks, then news broke of the possibility of BBC 3 going so someone created a new thread. Charlie Wells then closed the new thread and said to post in the old thread, completely interrupting quite an engaging debate. So the debate then started again on the old thread and now they've closed that and said we should be discussing it in a new thread, again breaking up the debate.

Is it just me?

Completely agree. Not really sure why they've gone and split the thread in to a new one when the old one we were told to post in was sufficient.

Why didn't there just spilt the old thread where rob postage the news with the new thread?

I think we'll all confused now, how to deal with it.

The main thing for BBC now is to have new idents for all it's stations and to find timeslots for BBC Three's important shows.
Well I'm glad that's sorted.

Hardly Dave's most subtle joke, and still it flies over Worzel.
