Why is Salmond desperate to stay in the EU?barcode wrote:So why are people voting for the BNP and Ukip if there not happy with EU?
When did Nick Clegg lose it?
The BNP as a party has practically collapsed. UKIP do well in by-elections however so did the Lib Dems back in the day.wells wrote:Have you ever considered a lot of those people might be morons?barcode wrote:So why are people voting for the BNP and Ukip if there not happy with EU?
"He has to be larger than bacon"
I'd say there's a fair number of them who are better described as "easily led". With Farage/Salmond being left to a free reign of "we'd be so much better on our own", "if we're independent, we can do as we like", "nobody else will be able to tell us what to do", and "we can carry on doing all the good things that membership brings, nobody will be able to stop us", it's very easy to get sucked into believing it.WillPS wrote:In the case of BNP morons and/or evil people.wells wrote:Have you ever considered a lot of those people might be morons?barcode wrote:So why are people voting for the BNP and Ukip if there not happy with EU?
In the case of UKIP morons and/or very selfish people.
Either way, mostly morons.
It's only when the other side actually offer up any sort of evidence that Faramond's position becomes clear as the empty, hollow promises and unthought through strategy that it actually is. Even UKIP are admitting this week that if they got into power it would take years to negotiate an exit from the EU, a far cry from what many of their supporters appear to believe - that electing them to power would result in an immediate end of Brussels having any power or control over the UK (something that would never be true as long as we remain in this part of the planet).

There is no comparison between the Ukip leader and the First Minister of Scotland, who has delivered on a huge swath of pre election pledges.
Please do not mash their names together.

Maybe not comparable based on a record of achievements, but personality wise they are both brash, angry, and pandering.Gavin Scott wrote:There is no comparison between the Ukip leader and the First Minister of Scotland, who has delivered on a huge swath of pre election pledges.

Opinion is limited to members of the site but not the owner? I don't think so, Willpiss.WillPS wrote:And there ends the debate. Thanks for coming peeps.
You are one of the most brittle and abrupt people on here when you have something to say - so why don't you cram it with walnuts you hypocritical wanker.
Sir Alex may be smug, but he's not brash, angry, and differently not pandering, David and Nick on the other hand well.......
What happened with Lord Rennard, he was suppose to have pulled the carpet from under Nick.
It seems most people on here are rather happy with Nick clegg its seems.
