What's twatish about that? Seems like it genuinely could have been worded or organised a little better.Alexia wrote:Luke wrote:pretty poor for Fiona Bruce to tell people to switch over to the BBC NC at the end of last night's Ten to see pictures of the Boston suspects only for the channel itself to be showing trailers.Twat.Luke wrote:no, her words were along the lines of: 'news just in, FBI have released the pictures, to see them, turn over to the BBC news channel now'
not massively bothered as I swiftly went over to Sky, as I imagine anyone else who wanted to see them did.

Could someone explain what the above actually means and what it contributes to the thread? It seems to just be a confusing statement which makes little sense.DanielK wrote:Overall the BH studios are very minimal news studios, compared to other ones and American ones, they may do a one on one at the side of the studio on chairs etc.
At least it isn't another question.

i find the cwilliams thread a bit strange.
i can't understand why those folk in the thread are getting so annoyed by the existence of his youtube channel... surely if he wants to play continuity announcers in his bedroom, it's not doing any harm is it?
sometimes i think some people in this world have lost the plot and all sense of perspective completely.
i have a fair few interests and read/post in a good dozen forums, there are bullshitters, nutters, anoraks, trolls, wind-up merchants etc in every one of them - just like there is in every other kind of society, virtual or otherwise.
it looks like from reading http://cw76.webs.com/ the guy sits some way along the autistic spectrum and might even have cerebral palsy. those two conditions combined would certainly go someway to explain his hobby.
i think some people in the thread need to take a bit of a step back and realise that tv presentation being what it is, is always going attract a few of life's more interesting characters.
i think the world would be a far duller place if we didn't have the occasional alldritt.

A four page thread on the main board about some wee weirdo's YouTube channel? Do me a favour.
You get posts about gaffer tape deleted when it upsets the train of thought of a rota robot, yet this is considered appropriate.
Bravo.
