If I decided to murder someone, for example, would I be able to hide in a foreign embassy to avoid arrest? Is that how all this works? Because that don't seem right to me.

If the USA/UK want to enforce this bit of diplomatic international politics the way they are, then perhaps the US embassy staff could please pay their unpaid congestion charges?

Would you consider murder and what he's been accused of to be the same thing? I only ask because your hypothetical would be difficult to answer negatively - so one might conclude you've arrived at your own conclusion.

Don't confuse the tin hat brigade (9/11 conspiracy theorists, Obamabirthers, Illuminati idiots and David Icke) with people like me who are genuinely interested in the abuses of power carried out by those entrusted with it and who have an interest in keeping governments to account. I for example would like to find out how much the NRA is bankrolling Washington for example.

Not really, I'm genuinely curious as to whether this is the case. I don't think that murder and what he's accused of are the same thing, I purposefully chose one of the crimes that carries the heaviest punishment.

Basically what I'm asking is whether or not being in a foreign embassy is a bit of a get-out-of-jail-free card.

Latest trick: His followers release the email and phone numbers of 97 Hertfordshire Police officers along with their PNN emails and 'passwords'. Not only are Hertfordshire Police naff all to do with Julian Assange, I get the impression this was to try and scare the Met - don't worry chaps, the Met's a bit more secure than Windows 2000 Business Server!

They need a smart card to login with those passwords and need to be on a PNN connected terminal, there's no public facing, if any webmail interface for a PNN email address!
