I notice back then that Metropol was a lot more friendly-looking, I mean the content has obviously always been the same (in fact there were some really quite weird threads I stumbled upon) but it had cloud imagery, red and blue, bright colour scheme, a front page, etc etc. Now it's all very self-referential isn't it, with the London 2012 inspired logo and the current theme. Not saying that it's bad, just pointing out how it's changed. Back then the theme fit in with the TV Home/TV Forum design of the day with the squares of alternating shades of blue. Now it looks like the complete opposite.
Those designs were by Martin, the site's original owner (and no longer a visitor). When he passed the site on to me I had the blessing of another design team to work with.

Yes, its very different, but that was intentional.

TVF's opinion of Kay Burley seems to have turned around all in the space of one night.

No, they just seem to have realised she's not that bad at light entertainment programming. I think the general opinion of her news presentation skills is still intact.

I wonder how long David will go on using the Challenge[TV] for? It's getting slightly annoying. I wonder if He and Tumbly are related?

Don't mention it - he reads all this and thrives off the confusion!

"It's really, really great to see the smooth and magnificent Kasia Madera presenting a prime-time shift on the News Channel. "

I'm finding Dan S the most irritating member of all recently.

Now remember - our suggestions that rota threads encourage Barry George like posts have always been ignored

When stalking of TV presenters is such a real issue, it does strike me as odd that the issue seems to be ignored.

Presumably the "I have a meeting with television execs and need some programme ideas" thread is being humoured as the fantasy of a tosser, and not seriously believed?

The mong quotient is so high over the road I feel compelled to point this out and seek clarification.

I've been pondering if everyone is taking it seriously or not, too. The worrying part is that it looks like they are, even though we have no evidence this person is genuine...
