So where does the TumbleTower pastiche end and David's own madness begin?
Aside from the madness of thinking the Gene Wilder film is superior I see nothing wrong with that post. Aside from the rather lame joke at the end with the spoiler tag - which imo is no worse than using a fake </tag> or #hashtag is a comment.

The idea that he watches with both AD/Subtitles enabled. The explicit note of something obvious (which would fit with Gavin's TumbleTower pastiche theory).

Perhaps I've just switched off to it.

Right then, who's going to make me an inspiring poster for my attempt to become elected overlord of TVF? I want to look presidential in it whilst also being seen contemplating a new Live bug on Midlands Today.

Also any slogans are welcome. I was considering "Pete for Mod, he's better than Rod"

Some people are really sensitive arent they?

Maybe I ought to be rude about certain posters myself, seeing Ive been slagged off occasionnally.

Just be mellow & worry about other things in the world.

Im certainly more concerned about 'our boys' out there fighting than a innocent comment about 'peanut smuggling'!
I simply feel that it borders on perversion/obsession to mention those sort of things.

I have to agree, however, that the Gene Wilder version was worse than the latest version - Roald Dahl certainly didn't like it. It's truer to the book, simply put.

I didn't realise views on "... and the Chocolate Factory" were so polarised. Stick me with in the classic camp.

I must say, all this talk of Daybreak being axed is a joy. Hopefully all the tiresome Daybreak Thread morons will use it as an excuse to leave the forum.

TIFIFY :P

On a similar note, can I express my wish for a similar fate to befall Sky News so that rightokraheemphil will disappear into their own fantasy land?
