Well you were discussing the subsidisation of Public Transport in Yorkshire (SYPTE and WYPTE) and Tyneside (TWPTE) - so I'd say it had everything to do with them and/or their behaviour.
I was not on about PTE, i was just give general ref to how South east subsidise places in the north, maybe I should have included Cumbria and Lancaster..

Ah yes that's probably why I hadn't noticed it, due to us only having one loco-hauled service (although we have 4 locos)

It is an impressive refurb. I was under the impression that 158 alternators only have limited capacity though.
