Is that $9.99 per year (as in $19.98 over the minimum term of 2 years) or $9.99 for 2? Only Namecheap have theirs for $4.99/year.

If your friend wants to support the Scottish economy he could go with Easyspace, which offers free MX record control and full DNS management. UK domains are £9.50 for two years.

the former, it's a tad more expensive than normal but tbh I'm rather tempted to move it over asap just to spite the annoying current registrar who's name adds up to 2
