I've managed to quell my renewed temptation, and no sooner did I do so than some spam from Paypal titled "get your hands on an iPad 2!" dropped into my inbox.

Steve is watching me...
I read your facebook this morning talking about being "tempted by shiny things".

Are you *sure* you've managed to quell the burn?

The odd thing is, I get inundated by provider companies at work sending me emails offering the chance to win an iPad - prize draws and the like.

And I've been entering all of them. I don't even know why.

Quelling was after the facebook update! And I can only assume you are entering these competitions so you can send your prize to ME

You may as well assume that, given the odds of me winning being so slim.

Hmm, I appear to have ordered one. Interesting.

"Ordered"? That doesn't sound instantly gratifying.

£27 cashback, Scott. As a scottish person you should be supportive ;)

Also, there IS NO APPLE STORE IN OXFORD. Gah. Why did I move here? I'm an idiot.

There isn't one in Edinburgh either. Shocking, really.

What colour cover did you plump for?

The G3 iMacs and iBooks are still the best looking computers ever designed.
