But is he really dead? the conspiracy theories i've read on facebook suggests he's working in the same chippy as Elvis and princess DI. On the flip side of that arguement is that the US killed him before the Iraq invasion and Obama decided to announce it now to piss off Donald Trump ( US celeb apprentice) :?

Ooh, Celebrity Apprentice? I can't bear whoever does the Apprentice over there, it's based around where the beach house or wherever they stay so much, and the other contestants spend 10 minutes after a 'You're Fired' talking about every fault in the fired contestant.

More ill-informed reactionary cow-dung from trivialmatters :
trivialmatters wrote:Glad it's gone. Garbage like Channel M has absolutely no purpose. You simply can't do TV on the cheap and expect people to watch it. You can churn out radio on a shoestring budget, but television is just too expensive. Giving 'Manchester student television' a broadcasting license was always a ridiculous idea. Shocking really that its demise was as long and drawn out as it has been.

The Yorkshire & Lincolnshire thread seems to have turned into the Presenter Hate thread.
the worst presenter that Calendar has, she is just dreadful! Please don't use her again!
she is dreadful and the sight of her and the sound of her voice make me want to vomit
Does she do it for free? As that is the only reason why she could be there surely

Agreed, I saw the Apprentice USA once and I was rather underwhelmed.

It's just wholesale product placement from start to finish.

Donald Trump introduced company, executives and product/service. Reminds teams how important it is they do a good job for company since product/service is so good.
[advert break]
Team are seen using/watching/performing product/service. Voxpop of team member saying how good product/service is.

Plenty of product/brand shots throughout, with the climax of the project consisting of an advert-like demonstration of product/service.

Trump/executives congratulate winner on doing such a good job for company. In the boardroom the loser is chastised for letting such a good company and product/service down.

The Australian version is no better, and New Zealand's version was worse.

Thank God our version's on the Beeb!

Yes, the US Apprentice is just awful.

No humour or warmth, banal commercially driven tasks, state-the-bleeding-obvious voxpops, annoying contestants who constantly spew business theory and use the phrase 'step up to the plate' every two minutes.
