So, I note that they've got rid of the old free version and now demand their £1.84 for the thing. Therefore I was wondering if anyone actually uses the thing because if not I'll get shot of it because it's an arse and keeps demanding I update the plugin.

If people do use it though I'll leave it.

Now that Swype has solved all of the tedium of entering URLs....no.

Someone at work was singing the virtues of Swype. Where can I download it from? (Desire and Wildfire if it matters)

It's still in beta so is a rather arduous procedure: you have to go to their website, register for a beta account, activate, download, install, log in, license and BOOM you're done.

Yes, ME!

But I wouldn't really miss it and it always gives me irritating popup boxes when I forget to use it. Plus it looks bloody ugly on my home screen. Since I've got a newer phone the full theme loads pretty damn quick anyawy.

The BlackBerry app has failed, to be frank. It is a beta version, so although I can post and read for free, I have to update it, as it decommissions the beta program automatically every few months, which is a right pain, as Tapatalk don't get round to updating for a week after decommission. And, it would never read some topics, and the entire application would crash. Although I used it, I was limited, and wouldn't be upset to see it go.

Thanks. While it sounds like a pain it seems the benefits make it all worthwhile.

I think I've turned it off. Can anyone confirm?
