I just relegated tvf from my bookmark toolbar to the bookmark menu. It occurs to me that aside from the Virgin Tivo thread there are no threads on there that interest me and those that potentially might are just so full of shit as to be unreadable.

A sad day for television.

Looking back, the manner in which I exploded the other day against Shatgold may have been a little OTT, but the feeling behind it remains. Why should we have to sit through shit like this:

Someone needs to slap TwattyboxCUNT [Excuse my expletives], he really really gets on my nerves. Before anybody says it, I know I am one to talk regarding that matter!

Really I was just being playful. I've got little to say about Channel 5 now that its under the ownership of dirty Des - but those logos are hideous.

Tellybox is clueless and irrelevant; but can anyone shed light on why PlymouthStu decided to wade in?

He just can't see a thing go past him. Its not as if he's not on notice about engaging with me (and I him, for that matter), and yet time and again he starts.

BORING!

I just wish he'd get back to filling his days capturing and uploading entire programmes for teenage boys, in order that they are impressed with him. That must be fulfilling enough. Picking fights with me is futile - he's not going to win - he can't possibly win.

Its flattering that he attempts to flower-up his language to make himself sound as erudite and articulate as I - but ultimately he gets the tone wrong and sounds like a knob head.

*sigh*

I'd be so happy to ignore the entire subject of him, but as he won't let it go then I'll use this place to vent. I've been asked not to bother with him over there, and I intend to do my best to keep my word to Asa.

Its *almost* a shame that Stu is banned from here. Perhaps we could have come to a meeting of the minds.

If he can find a tall enough ladder, that is.

There's something about his liberal use of !'s which my head interprets as an attempt at whimsy, but instead is just condescending and a bit twatty!

See. That was twatty too. It is difficult to exclaim with dignity.

Oh FFS. Now Tellybox is chuntering on about having dyslexia.

Does he have any idea how many people have that particular impediment, or how much effort they go through to make their posts intelligible?

Using that as some shoddy excuse really just puts him in the worst category possible.

Such a bore - especially when he (A) posts what he likes in whatever piss-poor form that takes (B) spits the dummy and uses excuses to gain pity when criticised and then (C) tells forum members of a decade what the forum is "for" and to get back to discussing what he wants to discuss.

It is, in actual fact, a bit of a joke.

Two of my teachers had Dyslexia when I was at high school, and they had no problem. The odd spelling mistake, but apart from that, correct punctuation marks and capital letters, along with mostly correct grammar, along with sentences that made sense.

The thing is, TV pres isn't excited anymore. The 2s, the balloons, the hearts, the squares; that era is all gone now. It's all very bland. Correct me if I'm wrong, but TV Forum was for TV presentation, right? It seems now that the majority of posts are about actual TV shows, which is the complete opposite of what the site and forum were about.
