Anything I seem to do doesn't work. I have a handful of games I am trying to port to the Mac OS, but either the games don't work, or their are issues with the virtualised drivers.
Wine is a classic example. I manage to find a Mac version that can "wrap" the Windows Apps and force the X11 manager to run the programs. MSO works great on the Linux especially on Ubuntu in terms of the PowerPoint, but it failed when Mac was running it. Soooooo....ooo.....oo ju-ju-jumppy!
What program for Mac can port my games and software without hassle?

can't you just use boot camp to dual boot a windows installation?
failing that, windows laptops are hardly expensive these days - base spec windows 7 from about 350 squid from pc world. surely this will run your games easily enough ?

if the management of boot camp is hard (and there was me thinking apple macs are easy and intuitive that that's why people use them
) then really your easiest route forward will be to just install your games on a bog standard windows box.
some designed-for-business pcs and laptops have a windows xp/windows 7 recovery option so you can just install xp on it and your games will work as before.... will cost you about £400... (or much less if you can find something which will run your games used on ebay) ... or maybe you should spend some time reading up how to make it work in boot camp... it will save you a packet and another machine hanging around.

yeah you could say that.... and don't get me wrong, that isn't a bad idea
.... but some like the idea of keeping things together. Oh well. Back to the Boot Camp
