I presume we're both irritated at the same mountain of stupidity?

Apparently gyrophish doesn't like off topic posts, and anyone who jokes about his spelling is "jus [sic] immature".
gyrophish wrote:Would somebody like to explain for the last few pages it has been full of unrelated daybreak posts what was first attended as a joke turned firstly with smarmy comments about my writing which was jus immature and as you can see here I can type / write . then we had some link to a post were some member has posted his mock of television schedule an also some thought of comment about the rota thread.

Maybe I've been watching too much Jonathan Creek, but I do expect a modicum of logic and common sense from at least some of the TVF fraternity. Given Ste's assertions on Sky's anti-piracy methods, and Gilsta claiming that the BBC have a region in Ireland, I must be expecting a lot.

Just for anyone wanting to know, Daybreak music without anything overlaid on it has been posted in the Requests forum, including the Close theme and Top of Hour bed.

TLMictchell is Terry Turner. Wonder if Craig Adams is still knocking around.

I'm confused, could someone clear this up for me? Why has andreas (who posted several Daybreak tunes and a Sky News tune in the Requests forum) been banned? Surely it's not because he/she used a "crap upload service" which worked fine for me.

Beep and Pakokelso were stating that it was around £45 a pop for that Daybreak music, and we got it for free. Related?

Have no idea personally - and I feel a bit bad about my comment about the upload service, but I swear I couldn't find an actual clickable link on the page.

Apparently it was at the bottom, but I sure didn't see it.

Its often the case that decisions about banning are made with no explanation to other users - which is a shame, as in some cases other members may draw lessons from those actions and consequences.

It is, and before you go down that avenue, no, I didn't report him (I know you're thinking it!).
Although you didn't get full tracks at full quality. You got cut down main tracks reduced in quality to 86Kbps then back up to 128. The close, for example is 2m35s in length. Nice of him to post it for you though. Better than paying ITV £45. The only thing I can think of is ITV have seen the uploads and put in a claim, or he was a previously banned user.
