Fantastic! Where else will you find an answer to a question posed more than half a decade ago?

It was ages before I matched up that spelling with that word.
I'd probably been doing them for about three or four years before I realised how to spell them.
My favourite, still, though some would argue not strictly a segue, is to come off the back of Sir Duke, straight into Pearl's a Singer.

Mcdonalds had a few options for in store music when I worked there.
1. If they didn't have a TV (where they showed breakfast tv until 10.30am) they paid the radio in the morning or all day if all else failed.
2. They could play a CD which would loop automatically in the player
3. Some stores had a satellite service (Don't know much about it as we didn't)
4. We had a CD type thing in a caddy from Muzak http://music.muzak.com/ which were usually specially produced for McDoanlds. They lasted about 5 or 6 hours and would loop. We chose also from a set of 10 different styles. If we wanted a new CD we just sent 3 or 4 of them back and chose the genre we wanted back.
It was whoever was running the shift's choice even if there was a higher manager in the store at the time.
We used to do things like Kitchen Karaoke when it was busy which was a great laugh and I used to give prizes for the pest and worst singing.
Edit: Its amazing the amount I actually remember about working there, I have not done so for about 10 years now!

I only know it because it was in a theatre script I was learning once, and I had to ask what it was.Nick Harvey wrote:It was ages before I matched up that spelling with that word.

As we seem to be resurrecting the thread
Some stores don't duck the music when they do the "will the manager come to the checkouts please" type announcements. Always annoys the hell out of me when they crash the vocals.

URGH that jingle really annoys me as it could rhyme "information" with "nation" instead of just throwing in "UK"Steve in Pudsey wrote:
