you've no right to get tetchy at Beep's abhorrant anti-welsh rantings if you're coming out with shit like that. Brummies have accents that are difficult to understand, eh? Ho ho ho Mr. Michael McIntyre!
Ronnie is victorious, vivacious in victory like a venomous dog. Vile Republicans cease living while the religious retort with rueful rhetoric. These rank thugs resort to violence and swear revenge.

But Ronnie can punch through steel so they lose anyway.

Apologies for offence caused, but I was being (very) tongue in cheek.

Well I think I do at least, but I have to agree with rob, ginofish is really getting on my nerves with random posts, text speech and terrible spelling - and thats from someone who got moaned at about my spelling when I first joined!

sure you were, but when you come out with hypocritical toss against beep it only serves to put the tedious twat in the right and give him some sort of leverage

GMTV/Daybreak updates in the GMTV thread, it is after all the same company, made by the same people, in the same time slot.
After September 6th, either rename the GMTV thread to Daybreak to preserve its 17year heritage, or start a grown-up thread.

Have the TVF mods all gone on their summer holidays? It seems almost daily when a scwabble breaks out about the purpose of a thread / whether people should make and effort with their spelling & grammer / whether reporters are presenters / if it's worth having a thread for every programme, and yet the mods don't seem to have stated the stance of TVF or clarified anything, leaving people like Beep to start telling people off, starting the good old "who made you a mod" series of posts.

I can't believe this is the same forum where a couple of years ago if anyone posted a picture of a train, it would result in a thread closure, deleted posts and at least one banning.

I can't recall the last time a mod actually said anything within a thread to keep order, giving rise to a whole slew of "self-help" comments (including from me), which provokes the usual backlash from other members.

A couple of weeks ago there was a new member who joined up and started multiple threads on existing topics. Within one of those I prompted a mod to "clarify for the benefit of everyone" and it fell on deaf ears. I reported the topic to draw attention to it, but instead the member carried on to the point where he was banned. He might have picked up on the rules if he'd been prodded by a mod, rather than getting all lippy with another member telling him what to do. It reflects badly on the member trying to do the right thing, and it gets everyone's back up.

TV Forum needs moderation, and it needs to be seen to have moderation - especially come the summer holidays.

True, and I shall think hard before I make any generalisations against a group of people in the future. Except maybe Daily Mail readers.

I must admit Ginofish is getting quite annoying with his text speak. Keyboards are there for a reason :x

And even as we speak little-known members are popping up to say the arguments are tedious, and that's why they seldom contribute.

My guess is that in the end three or so pages worth of posts will be deleted, and no direction to new members regarding post frequency and quality will be made.

All very cyclical and usual.
