What have you seen today that has made you think "Yeah, that's cool...."?

Today, the best Google Doodle ever - a fully playable version of Pacman based around the Google Logo, complete with "Insert Coins" button. http://www.google.co.uk/

Awesome!

Its great, isn't it? Amazing how I found myself remembering those little winning techniques - it must be at least a decade since I played Pac Man.

Not sure what I have to add to this today. Would it sound lame to say that I'm finding my new flat mindblowingly awesome?

I think I'm a little bit in love with it. On a day like this is sunny and warm with so much s p a c e and its all new and all MINE!

Out of the camera? Does that help the image quality?

Today's awesomeness was finding a reasonably cheap World Cup trophy replica that actually looks like the World Cup trophy as opposed to a piece of rock covered in gold foil on eBay and buying it.

Apart from the inherent awesomeness in having a World Cup trophy of my own, I do have other plans for it. We are doing a World Cup promotion in the library (selections of books relating to each of the countries that are taking part) and I think it would be awesome to have a Saturday afternoon where all the kids come in and have their photo taken with the trophy.

Well if ever someone could fully utilise an expensive camera, its the Doctor - our own little Mike Rosenthal.

(a Top Model reference, Doctor, even though I know you're not a fan).

i've got the 135mm f2 on there moment, which is a truly awesome lens.

i've also the 100mm f2.8 macro and 50mm f1.8 (which despite being only cheapy, is really sharp stopped down to f2.8 - it's also really light).

i wasn't expecting how heavy the camera is, with lens and battery it must be about 2kg.

if you give me 10 minutes i'll post a couple of pics i took at the weekend.
