Streetcar (the car sharing company) is to be rebranded as Zipcar in the UK:

Also, the Claridge's brand is being completely overhauled. The new one is lovely, and I suggest checking out the article here, which is well worth a read.

That looks rather stylish to be honest. Top marks.Mattarz wrote:Streetcar (the car sharing company) is to be rebranded as Zipcar in the UK:
With regard to the waterstones look, the words "dire", "brash" and "howler" come to mind, with the phrase "What were they thinking?" following suit.

Saw npower, sorry, NPOWER's new logo during the cricket today. Horrid, isn't it? How long has it been like that?

Not that long - I wrote a little about it in this thread, if you're interested.madmusician wrote:Saw npower, sorry, NPOWER's new logo during the cricket today. Horrid, isn't it? How long has it been like that?
Good. I personally had no idea what 'bmi' stood for until I just read your post. Previously they were three meaningless letters that stood for anything or nothing. I would also suggest that the 'bmibaby' brand, which gets more exposure than 'bmi', has cheapened 'bmi' by association (the lowercase logo also cheapens it but that's another matter), so distinguishing the two very different brands by emphasising that BMI stands for British Midland International conveys the distinction very well.marksi wrote:Announcements from bmi are now voiced as "bmi - British Midland International". They've not referred to British Midland for at least 10 years.
