did anybody catch the darren brown investigates programme last night on channel 4?

i was a little dubious of the premise (trying to prove/disprove a negative) however, but by the end of the programme, i ended up feeling quite angry about the claims and behaviours of clairvoyant "Joe Power".

as i'm sure you already know, it's not possible to "talk to the dead", but this man really was dreadful. he needed to go to the toilet each time he arrived at a property to do a reading (no doubt to poke around looking for photos and clues) and his assessment of a "good" reading amounted telling somebody that a plucked out of the air relative is standing by them and is pleased with what they are doing.

but one other thing, why is it almost always women that fall victim to such nonsense? all his performances were almost entirely attended to by women?

Well if you disagree with Joe Power, you're a paedophile.

i hadn't seen that before... goes to show what a vile individual he is.

shame he was given the gift of all that publicity (even if it was negative).. i would have never heard of him otherwise.
