Wasn't sure where to post this, but here it goes. Earlier today I sent out a tweet to my local Lib Dem candidate, saying I received a Labour poster and was waiting for one from her to put up along side it.
@bridgetfox When I receive a nice Lib Dem gold poster for the window, I shall put it up along side my one from Labour #ge2010 #ukelection
She responded asking for my address via Direct Message. To which I responded, thinking she will stick one in an envelope and would bung one in the post. I was wrong...

A nice young lady knocked on the door a few hours later, and handed me one personally. I sent a response via twitter and posted a photo of the posters up in the window.
@bridgetfox Thank you very much, one of your campaigners delivered your poster for the kitchen window. #ge2010 http://twitpic.com/1fkzbi
Now this was the moment all mention of the Twitter election sunk in. Its a shame Bridget Fox is the only candidate for Islington South on Twitter.

I thought the whole point of displaying such posters was to show your endorsement of the party?

That is my stance also for hung parliament. For a majority I would like Liberal Democrats to win.

Twitter and other social networks are playing a vital role in today's policies. Even President Obama has several twitter profiles. Seems like everyone is tweeting these days.
