Spoke again to Orange today.
They can offer a Blackberry curve or an LG GT505, even though Nokia's site has a wealth of UMA handsets.
So, if I'm not going to get what I want then I will move on. Anyone aware of any great deals with other providers? I'm unlimited texts and some several hundred x-net anytime minutes for £25 currently.

The battery in my current phone is getting a little weak, so I think a new handset is in order.Sput wrote:SIM only or with contract with phone?
I see the same model of BB is on Vodafone too - and its free with the same contract cost (albeit I would be missing the added bundles I've gained); so Orange really aren't trying very hard to keep me.

Oooh - mind you, Vodafone's SIM only is good with 600 anytime minutes and 3000 texts for £20 per month.
I was JUST about to point you to them
Perhaps you should order some free SIMS from various providers and see how reception is (at least in terms of how many bars you get)
Also I've heard that just cold calling various networks and asking what they can do for you tends to yield at least slightly better deals than their websites list

I can't tell if he's a bot. He sounds like a bot.
