I've got a similar app to this on Android called Keyring. You just scan the barcode of your card. Never had the guts to use it though, didn't want to get harassed at the self-service.

Bloody useless for staff though - but then, we still hafta have our Privilegecards swiped :(

Surely you'd need to know how delayed it was in total, and therefore not be using it until after you were done on the tube.

Hmm... good point.

I was waiting for Steddenm to come in and tell me that over 60% of the Underground is ABOVE ground, but I guess he's busy elsewhere.

On which note, aren't there plans afoot to install mobile phone compatibility in tube stations / tunnels using a device which name escapes me at present?
