I don't think punctuation and the average Facebook user exactly go together.

I see there's currently a group called "Facebook stays free if we get 1,00,00,00 members". I was thinking of starting a "Lets put random commas in the middle of numbers" group!
lol - the worst part is that the only reason you and I saw this group is that people we know joined it!

Its when you see random punctuation and typos a plenty from old school friends - makes me wonder what they were doing while I was in class.

And why they didn't ask me to join in.

I've been using facebook for many years now, it's great for sharing photos and keeping up with those you know. However nowadays I'm using it less and less.

Joined Twitter in April, hardly used it. Went back in November and have hardly been without a tweet since. It's a bit like keeping a diary, expect less taxing.

I'm not fond of the many who don't make conversation though. It can become all me me me without an @reply in sight, which is much less engaging.

The simplicity of twitter wins people over. It can become shockingly addictive though, I myself had to put it down for a few days earlier this week.

You've taken it too far when you've got applications installed on your computer and phone, displaying pop-ups of every tweet, as they arrive.

Completely agree with you Aids. For a tweeter to be successful, it's got to be engaging. Yes mini briefs on activities, but by showing an interest in others it comes to life. Mini Twitter communities are created.

Last weekend I was in London and swung by our very own Matt Martin's twitter gathering, which was fun.

I'm on LinkedIn too, but this is at a slower pace, mainly for work related things.

Yay, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I use Twitter as a kind of diary, separated from people I know and dislike. I've found it a valuable way of meeting other people who like similar things to me. Facebook is for more established friends in my opinion.

Here's on I made. Most of the silly comments are from friends of mine on a Comedy Forum, but it's funny when people come on and say "what this is nonsense you RETARD". It is very funny indeed.
Ronnie is victorious, vivacious in victory like a venomous dog. Vile Republicans cease living while the religious retort with rueful rhetoric. These rank thugs resort to violence and swear revenge.

But Ronnie can punch through steel so they lose anyway.

Oh FFS. Why do I know people who joined the group, "We are ALL against Facebook closing down. INVITE ENTIRE FRIENDS LIST!".

Jeebus - these people shouldn't be allowed on the net.

Oh, isn't it closing down now?

I thought it was closing because there was no profit in it after everybody refused to pay $99 a month from July 3rd.

Closing down Nick, the interweb gives me nothing of this, so whether this is jargon, or well hidden, I do not know. If it's going though, Twitter have won.

Oh dear. I think rather than being banned GMTV should just leave in shame.
