So, no "severance payment" for Mrs Swish, but still a non-contributory pension and "pay-off" for he "staff" - including members of the extended Swish family.
Nice work if you can get it.
Meanwhile, I've no MP.
Still, sometimes nothing's better than something.

With the news today that journalists were caught inside Kirk McC's home, I wonder if knowing the politics of NI whether McC's life could be at risk because of this situation.

I doubt it to be honest; I could be wrong but these days it tends to be drug barons and drug runners that are the main targets of paramilitaries, there would be very few people who would take issue enough with the twentysomething bit-on-the-side of a corrupt Unionist politician to want him dead.DVB Cornwall wrote:With the news today that journalists were caught inside Kirk McC's home, I wonder if knowing the politics of NI whether McC's life could be at risk because of this situation.
If anything, the main danger comes from ambush journalist twats like those involved in illegally entering his home. And BBC News and the Belfast Telegraph state the arrested are employed by the Sunday World (lowbrow Irish tabloid rag of NotW ilk) - what a surprise.

Well well well. If true then she really is a bucket-fannied old tramp.marksi wrote:Sunday Life says it will tomorrow name another person Iris had an affair with.
I'm sure that's how god will see it anyway.
I believe one of the national Sunday tabloids will run with the "DUP MP Jeffrey Donaldson claimed for 68 movies in hotels on expenses" story that ran earlier in the year. I'm wondering if there will be any more details than were revealed at the time (he says they weren't adult in nature).

Whatever that was won't open for me.
Let's hope it was something worthy of censorship.

More here:Iris’s constituency office in Newtownards was acquired by a company owned by Ken Campbell (the 25 grand loan guy) in July 2007 for £195,000. Land Registry documents show the property was transfered to the Robinsons ‘in consideration of the sum of £1’ in August 2007. The Robinsons sold it to a pension fund, involving two top Co. Down property developers, for £207,000 last year.
Since then we, the tax payers have paid at least £8,000 in rent for the office.
